Step 1: Set Up a Solana-Compatible Wallet

2. Download and Install Phantom Wallet:
- Find the app in Apple or google play, or download wallet extension for your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge).
3. **Create a New Wallet:**
- Open the Phantom wallet extension.
- Click "Create New Wallet" and follow the prompts to set up your account.
Step 2: Fund Your Wallet with SOL
1. **BUY SOL:**
- Purchase Solana (SOL) on a cryptocurrency exchange such as Coinbase.
2. **Transfer SOL to Your Wallet:**
- Open the Phantom wallet and copy your SOL address.
- Go to your exchange (I.e Coinbase, and initiate a withdrawal, copying/pasting your SOL address as the recipient.
- Confirm the transaction and wait for the SOL to arrive in your Phantom wallet.
Step 3: Connect Your Wallet to a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) in our example - we’ll use Jupiter DEX Aggregator

2. **Enter Trade Amount:**
- Enter the amount of SOL you want to swap for the meme coin.
- Jupiter will show you the approximate amount of the meme coin you will receive.
3. **Review and Confirm the Swap:**
- Review the details of the trade, ensuring everything looks correct.
- Click “Swap” and approve the transaction in your Phantom wallet.
- Wait for the transaction to be confirmed on the Solana blockchain.
